Some dream of white Christmas, some dream of a new Simple Plan Christmas song. Yes, it’s been quite a while since the band has released a Christmas themed song, since their song “My Christmas List,” which first came out on the Christmas compilation album “MTV: TRL Christmas” in 2001.
In a new interview for Idobi radio with Mike Fishkin on the “Gone Fishkin” show, that aired last night, Chuck agreed that the band desperately needs a new Christmas song (he even mentioned the fact that wanting “a PlayStation 2” for Xmas is probably not very up-to-date) and even talked about the fact that there are plans on releasing one next Christmas. Yes, there won’t be a new one out this year (let’s face it – when would the guys have the time to record & release it with all the song-writing for the next record going on?) but we may expect one next year!
