Photos of Simple Plan’s first show at Canada Day

At about 1pm (local time) today, Simple Plan performed as the closing act during the Noon show at the celebrations of Canada Day at the Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Canada. The guys pumped up the crowd of 10 000 people (and thousands of people watching the show online) with two songs: Addicted from their first album and Summer Paradise from their last and were said to be the most high energy performers of the day so far.

Simple Plan will also be playing at the Evening show later tonight at Canada Day, with the live stream again available here (Simple Plan will be performing at 8pm EST). This time around, the band should be playing 7 songs (thx Janie for the info)- including Jet Lag featuring Marie-Mai.

In the gallery you can now check out the photos and screencaps from Simple Plan’s first show at Canada Day:

Loona: I don’t really think that I will… still thinking about it though. Perhaps if I knew the exact time when SP are playing I will. But other than that it’s at the worst time possible (1:30am to 4:00am)
