After last night’s show in Nagoya, Japan, Simple Plan took a bullet train to Osaka, Japan, where they played another show at Japan’s Punkspring festival today. And according to the reactions so far, the show has been amazing, Seb even called it the “best show in a long time”.
As you can see from the line-up for the Osaka show on the left, Simple Plan are surrounded with some of the biggest bands in the current punk-rock genre – which in SP’s case means catching up with old friends. Sebastien for example got to hang out with one of his favourite musicians – Joey Cape (singer of Lagwagon).
And it seems the other bands at this festival also seem to enjoy the presence of the guys from Simple Plan: Jake Bundrick from Mayday Parade (drums/vocals) even tweeted a picture of the SP show from side-stage entitled “Simple Plan killing it at Punkspring.”
