On June 20th and 21st, the city of Montebello, QC, in Canada will be hosting the 9th edition of Amnesia Rockfest, which is the largest rock festival in Canada – featuring more than 150 bands on a number of stages.
This year’s line-up is very interesting for fans of all rock-related genres – the headliners of the first night will be Blink-182 and on second night, the fans will get to enjoy Mötley Crüe.
Besides other big acts that will be performing on Amnesia Rockfest (Billy Talent, The Used, Taking Back Sunday, MXPX – just to name a few), the festival will also be a place of bands’ reunions – and for the Simple Plan fans that is most importantly the band Reset, which will reunite for one night only with its original line-up. Both Chuck and Pierre will be there to rock some of their old songs along with Phil Jolicoeur, who’s the only person from the original line-up who is currently still in the band.
Reset was the starting band of Pierre Bouvier and Chuck Comeau from Simple Plan, who were among the original members, and after Pierre’s (and before that also Chuck’s) departure, also a band that David Desrosiers briefly joined as a vocalist, replacing Pierre.
The last time Reset reunited was in 2009 at the 10 year anniversary of the 123 Punk programme. You can check out a few pictures from that show here.
More information about tickets to Amnesia Festival can be found here.
