Currently, the boys from Simple Plan are in Los Angeles, USA, where – 2 days ago – they attended a photoshoot for the cover of their new album that comes out on June 21st. The photographer of the photoshoot is nobody else than Chapman Baehler, who has worked with Simple Plan many times in the past – you may remember his work on the second Simple Plan album artwork – Still Not Getting Any. Pierre has also mentioned their work on the new photoshoot in his latest Bubbletweet, that you can check out here.
Yesterday, the guys started shooting their first music video – Can’t Keep My Hands Off You. And here I would like to clear something up: even though the guys have released this song and it is available for purchase, the official press release clearly states it is not the first Simple Plan’s single. Pierre himself cleared the rumours up on his Twitter, saying: “No it’s not an official single. It’s more like a gift to the fans that have been waiting for so long.”
Yet the guys are still making a music video for this song. And it seems like it should all be in prom spirit, as the music video will be promoting the new Disney movie “Prom”. First pictures of last night’s shooting, which appeared on Twitter, have also confirmed this information:

Below you can check out the trailer for the forementioned movie “Prom”, on which soundtrack Simple Plan’s “Can’t Keep My Hands Off You” will appear:
Update:
Andrea Kelley has confirmed via her Twitter to be one of the extras in the Can’t Keep My Hands Off You video (thanks to Jennie for letting us know). Andrea has previously appeared in an uncredited role in the Ron Howard’s adaptation of Dan Brown’s book “Angels And Demons”).
According to one of her tweets concerning the Simple Plan music video: “We’re filming at a school and apparently I’m a way bigger hit to high school boys now, then I was when I was in high school.”

Ah it would make sense a music video would be made for the song [ecen though it’s not a single] if it’s for a movie. Movies often want the publicity and it’s a different way to do it other than just adverts on TV.
Yeah, I think it’s similar to why back in time Don’t Wanna Think About You has been made into a music video – to support the Scooby-Doo movie.
Andrea Kelley [an actress] is in the Cant Keep My Hands off You video… she tweeted about it. http://twitter.com/#!/AndreaKelley
