Simple Plan backstage in Tokyo, Japan

Simple Plan are already in the middle of their Japanese tour and today they finally arrived to Tokyo, Japan, where they are playing their third show at PunkSpring festival later today. The guys have already mentioned that they have some special surprises in store for the show in Tokyo – one of which being the live collaboration with Taka from ONE OK ROCK, who was recently featured on the Japanese version of Summer Paradise and who’s band is also playing at Punkspring today.

The guys from Simple Plan also finally hopped onto the bandwagon called Vine which is a new app that allows you to share short videoclips through your mobile phone. Chuck posted the first one today when the boys were on their way to Tokyo:

Vine is currently very popular in the community of bands, so there’s no wonder that we can spot the members of SP also on other band’s Vine videos. The one below was created by Sugarcult’s lead guitarist Marko DeSanti and shows you the backstage of Punkspring in Tokyo, Japan:

We also already have a bunch of pictures from today – from SP’s arrival to Tokyo and from backstage where the guys yet again got to hang out with not just a bunch of bands but surprisingly also with Tom – who those of you from the MySpace generation will remember as the only friend we all had in common:
