Last night, Simple Plan performed at the Olde Walkerville Theatre in Windsor, Canada, where they kicked off their “Taking One For The Team” tour that will continue on their first European run this year in just a week. The show was a charitable event and according to the first reports, an estimated minimum of $13 000 will be donated to the Transition To Betterness program that provides comfort for those impacted by a life-altering illness.
At the concert, Simple Plan premiered live for the first time some of the songs from their new album “Taking One For The Team” (coming out tomorrow, February 19th) that have not been played at a regular live show yet (if we don’t count a music video shoot). According to the fans who attended this show, Simple Plan performed tracks like ‘Kiss Me Like Nobody’s Watching’, ‘Farewell’ and ‘Opinion Overload’ [the band also played ‘Boom’ and ‘I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed’, but we’ve heard those live versions before].
The setlist was as follows:
2. I’d Do Anything
3. Jump
4. Jet Lag
