Simple Plan have finally come to the final point of the recording process of their fifth studio album, which they’ve been working on for the past year and half and recording for the past 3 months. After tracking all their songs, it has now come the time to mix them. Mixing is a process of blending all the individual tracks in a recording to create a version of the song that sounds as good as possible.
The guys decided to use the knowledge and mixing skills of a person they relied on for the past few years – Chris Lord-Alge, who mixed Simple Plan’s last two studio albums (Simple Plan and Get Your Heart On!). And it was today when the guys got to hear the first mix of their new album.
