Simple Plan have confirmed that the MTV EXIT music video for “This Song Saved My Life”, which was released mostly for charitable and informative purposes, will not be the only video made for this very special song, which has been written thanks to thousands of tweets sent to Simple Plan about how music has changed and saved their lives.
The band will be making a new music video for This Song Saved My Life – a song that we can now assume to be another official single off Get Your Heart On – and this time it will be involving real Simple Plan fans!
Fans in the Toronto area, who will be heading to the MuchMusic “The Big Jingle” on Sunday can now email the video team at casting@thene.ca with a picture of themselves and an explanation of what makes them the ultimate Simple Plan fan. The most unique people and stories will then be selected to star in the video.
But if you’re not from this area, don’t worry – according to Coalition Entertainment, Simple Plan’s management company they have “some other stuff up their sleeves” for the rest of the world.
