A big event is coming up this Wednesday, July 22nd in Cleveland, Ohio – the Alternative Press Music Awards (APMAs) – which is hosted by Alex and Jack from All Time Low this year. You may recall that Chuck from Simple Plan attended the event last year and helped with the Idobi radio coverage, but this time around the whole band will be there, as they are nominated for the “Artist Philanthropic” award and will also be performing at the event.
And it is the performance that all the Simple Plan fans should be the most excited for as the band actually plans to perform some new songs off their upcoming yet untitled fifth album (which should be coming out in October)! And that’s not all – in an interview for Kentwired.com, Simple Plan’s drummer Chuck Comeau mentioned that the fans may be even in for another treat – seeing SP collaborate with some other artists from their scene right on the stage at the APMAs!
“We want to do a kind of special, once-in-a-lifetime performance maybe with some other bands or other artists, and make it something that people will talk about even after the show,” Comeau said.
