Looks like things in Los Angeles regarding the new Simple Plan album may be almost done. According to his latest tweet, Jeff is officially leaving the city of angels and heading back home to Montreal, leaving Pierre and Chuck with 95% work on the album completed, since the last 5% are most probably left for mixing and mastering, for which the lead guitarist doesn’t necessarily have to be present.
While Jeff said not to quote him on this, he did in fact mention that he thinks the band “will have a new song out soon”. Now we can make as much fun as we like of this common term but something tells me Jeff is not lying with this one.
