Simple Plan have really put a lot of effort to make the Canadian Get Your Heart On! tour extraordinary. Apart from the huge light show, the intro, a few unseen collaborations, here is another speciality.

As we’ve already guessed from the photos from the Vancouver show, during the song Astronaut, Simple Plan have used some sort of a footage, which may have seemed like the Astronaut music video at first, but from this video below you can clearly see that Simple Plan have used a never seen before footage of astronauts as a background video for this song:

Yesterday, many rumours about Pierre and Jeff being involved in a car accident started to spread around on the internet – and apparently even Montreal Gazette informed about it. So I feel obliged to confirm that there was in fact no accident and that all the guys are all safe and sound in Canada, and that it was just one of the (recently very popular) death hoaxes.

As I’ve mentioned, the guys met in Penticton, Canada yesterday, where they are kicking off their Canadian tour today with All Time Low, Marianas Trench and These Kids Wear Crowns. And to celebrate the beginning of this awesome tour, they decided to record a little vlog from their rehearsal:

Canadian tour with Marianas Trench, These Kids Wear Crowns and All Time Low!

Seems like the announcements of new Simple Plan tours have no ending in sight: the band has announced yesterday that they are planning a huge Canadian tour in February 2012. And Simple Plan will again be taking 3 more bands with them on this tour: Marianas Trench, These Kids Wear Crowns and All Time Low! And just like the US tour, the band announced this one in a new video:

The exact tourdates will be revealed on September 19th.
