Simple Plan back in Europe: NPNHJB tour starts today!

Pierre, Chuck, Sebastien, Jeff and their crew are already in Europe, getting ready for the big day today: their first European NPNHJB anniversary show – in Berlin, Germany.

The foursome (as David isn’t coming on this tour due to personal reasons – read his detailed statement here) will once again be playing the Astra venue, just like last year and will have two opening bands before their show: The Bottom Line and Mallory Knox. SimplePlan.cz will be there to get you all the details from the show (as well as Hamburg the next day), so you can look forward to a big recap later!

The success of the 15th anniversary No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls tour is undeniable. And it’s not just the reviews that tell us so, it’s the numbers as well. The first leg of the tour, which took place in the United Stated in March and April was pretty much all sold-out and some places even got second shows to cover the huge demand for the tickets.

After the U.S., Simple Plan will be bringing this special anniversary tour to Europe and also Canada and some of these shows are already starting to sell out!

In Europe, you already won’t be able to find any more tickets for the shows in Hamburg, Germany and Paris, France. And according to our information, there is less than 20 tickets left for London, U.K and very few tickets are also available for the very first show of the tour: Berlin, Germany, which will take place next Sunday.

Good news about the success of the tour are also coming from Canada: the show in Toronto, ON is sold out and all shows in the Ontario province are very close to selling out too!

Program of Rock Am Ring & Rock Im Park is out: who do SP clash with?

In June, Simple Plan will return to the 2017 edition of one of the most popular European festivals: Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park in Germany. The festivals have now released the official schedules, which let us know when exactly will the festival-goers get to see Simple Plan and also which bands they might miss out on in that time slot. Let’s have a look at it then!

Simple Plan will be performing at Rock Am Ring first, on Friday, June 2nd at the Beck’s Crater Stage from 6:30 to 7:30pm. This one-hour-long set partially clashes with bands on other stages – Five Finger Death Punch (6:35pm – 7:50pm), Red Sun Rising (6:15pm – 6:55pm) and Mallory Knox (7:15pm – 7:55pm). At Rock Im Park, Simple Plan will play two days later, on Sunday, June 4th at the Beck’s Park Stage from 4:55pm to 5:55pm. Here, they will clash with Red Sun Rising again – for their whole set this time around (5:10pm – 5:50pm) and with a bit of the Five Finger Death Punch set too (5:40pm – 6:55pm). UPDATE: Simple Plan’s set has been moved up after Liam Gallagher’s and SP will now be performing from 6:20pm to 7:25pm See the full schedule here.

Rock Im Park (feat. Simple Plan) sold-out!

If you were thinking about seeing Simple Plan on the last day of the German festival Rock Im Park and still didn’t get your ticket, I’m sorry to say you’re out of luck now! Day 3 of the festival, on June 4th is now officially sold-out (thanks Mo for the information).

The whole festival takes place from June 2nd to June 4th and all festival and Day 3 day tickets are now gone. The only tickets left are day tickets for days 1 and 2, however Simple Plan will not be performing on those days.

If you’re in Germany around that time, it’s still possible to purchase tickets for Rock Am Ring (June 2nd) and also for the headlining Simple Plan shows in Berlin and Hamburg in May. Find out all about upcoming SP shows in the Tour section.

Day line-ups for Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park revealed!

As announced earlier this year, Simple Plan will be once again a part of the line-up for the popular German festivals Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park, which take place between June 2nd and 4th. Finally today, the organizers revealed which bands will play on which day and therefore those of you who would only like to check out the festivals because of SP can now know, when exactly they are performing (thanks to Mo for the information)!

Simple Plan will be performing at Rock Am Ring on June 2nd and at Rock Im Park on June 4th. The line-up for both festivals on the days when Simple Plan are playing includes acts such as Bastille, Five Finger Death Punch, Liam Gallagher and the headliners Rammstein.

It is important to note that all 75 000 tickets for Rock Im Park, which have been on sale are now sold-out. The festival promoters have now released limited daily tickets, which do not include parking or camping. Regular festival tickets for Rock Am Ring should still be available.
