Simple Plan surprise with ‘What’s New Scooby-Doo’ on their San Diego County Fair setlist

On Wednesday, all five members of Simple Plan were ready to once again give it all they’ve got together on stage at the San Diego County Fair, where they were expected to perform that evening as that night’s headlining act at the fair, attracting a very big crowd to the stage all day.

Interestingly enough, as far as setlist goes, the band decided to switch things up quite a bit and offered the crowd a number of tracks that we don’t get to perform that often – including ‘What’s New Scooby-Doo?’, ‘The Rest Of Us’, ‘Me Against The World’ or ‘Untitled’. Check out the full setlist below:

1. I’d Do Anything
2. Jet Lag
3. Jump
4. Your Love Is a Lie
5. Me Against the World
6. Addicted
7. Can’t Keep My Hands Off You
8. The Rest of Us
9. What’s New Scooby Doo
10. The Worst Day Ever
11. Summer Paradise
12. I’m Just a Kid
Encore:
13. Shut Up
14. Perfect World
15. Untitled
16. Perfect

And here you can watch a video of the fore-mentioned live version of ‘What’s New Scooby-Doo?’, which was filmed for us by May (thanks a lot!):

If you’re around the San Diego area in the upcoming months, make sure to drop by the San Diego County Fair, which will be hosting its annual series of concerts throughout May, June and July. And if you’ll hang around mid-June, you might just see Simple Plan performing, as they have just been confirmed to perform a show on June 19th at the Corona Grandstand Stage at the Del Mal Fairgrounds in Del Mar, CA.

A big Warped Tour photo update

One and half week after the final Warped Tour has begun, Simple Plan already performed 6 sets in 6 different cities across the United States, generating great reviews both from the media and from the tour attendees alike.

And before Simple Plan kick off yet another show (today they are heading to Salt Lake City), we managed to gather some pictures from the past 6 shows for your viewing pleasure. But before we get to the concerts itself, here are some glamorous shots from behind the scenes of Warped. When not on stage, the guys from Simple Plan usually like to spend time with their families (like they did in California), enjoy the sunshine, hang out with and watch other bands, sign at their merch tent and also do some fun activities, including skateboarding and bike riding. Check out the backstage photos from Warped so far in this album:

But of course the Simple Plan sets are the main thing why the band is present on the final Warped Tour and every day, the guys like to make sure every person who comes to see them has the time of their lives. At the past few shows, including the two most recent ones in Phoenix, AZ and Las Vegas, NV for example, Simple Plan once again brought their friend Travis Clark from We The Kings on stage to help them sing ‘I’m Just A Kid’.

Check out the photos from the past 6 Simple Plan sets on Warped from Pomona, San Diego, Mountain View, Ventura, Phoenix and Las Vegas below:

Besides the shows and the overall festival atmosphere, another thing that defines Warped Tour is definitely the fact that it brings bands together. The bands park their tourbuses next to one another, they eat together during meal time, watch each other’s performances on stage, and often also hang out later in the evening when the shows are over.

At yesterday’s Warped Tour in San Diego, CA, Simple Plan got to hang out again with their old friends from All Time Low and We The Kings, who they have toured with multiple times in the past and became good friends.
