Simple Plan perform ‘Everything Sucks’ and ‘Thank You’ in Austria for the 1st time on TOFTT tour

Last night Simple Plan played in Dornbirn, Austria, which lies near the Swiss/German/Austrian borders, and the local crowds were indeed in for a big surprise. The band decided to change the setlist again and played another new song from their new record Taking One For The Team – ‘Everything Sucks’. Another big change to the setlist was the addition of the song ‘Thank You’ from SP’s second album Still Not Getting Any! Thanks to Claudia you can check out the full setlist from last night below:

Simple Plan rocked Luxembourg

Last night Simple Plan played another headling show before they hit two European festivals – this time they returned to Den Atelier in Luxembourg, where they performed another high-energy set. Check out some amazing professional pictures in the gallery:

Simple Plan returned to Germany yesterday to perform in Frankfurt, at the Batschkapp venue. Before the show, Pierre hung out with the guys from The Bottom Line and they did a little jamming session together. Check it out:

Regarding last night’s setlist, the boys changed it up once again and the attendees of the show had the chance to hear YLIAL, I Refuse and Farewell. Check out the full setlist below [big thanks to Vanessa for sending it in]:

Simple Plan change up setlist tonight in Groningen

The Simple Plan show in Groningen, Netherlands has barely started and we already know what the attendees of this show have ahead of them setlist-wise! Big thanks to Jolien and Robin who were so awesome to send in their pictures of tonight’s setlist right after the crew taped it to the stage, we can now tell that Simple Plan do have plans on alternating between certain songs, just like their did on the first leg of the European tour.

As you can see from the setlist, the guys are switching up the same songs they did on the first part of the tour. That means they alternate between Take My Hand / Your Love is A Lie, Kiss Me Like Nobody’s Watching / I Refuse and finally Farewell / Nostalgic.

Regarding The Rest Of Us, which the band seems to have omitted on this part of the tour – according to Chuck’s words today, the band has decided to play their new single Singing In The Rain now instead, but they are thinking of possibly bringing The Rest Of Us for a couple of dates of this part of the tour.

Setlist of the second leg of Simple Plan’s European tour revealed!

Tonight, Simple Plan played the first show of the second half of their 2016 European tour in Stuttgart, Germany. There were many surprises throughout the show such as new design of the ‘Summer Paradise’ beach balls (black & white) or a surprise on-stage marriage proposal [which I will cover in a separate article along with a video from the cute moment], but the the fans were mostly looking forward to seeing which songs Simple Plan decided to play on this tour.

And while the setlist may change slightly, just like during the first leg of the tour Simple Plan kept changing 4 songs on the setlist, you can see that most of the songs stayed very similar to the first leg’s setlist with one major addition: the newest single ‘Singing In The Rain’, which the band performed for the first time ever live on stage in Stuttgart. Meanwhile another fan-favorite, The Rest Of Us was unfortunately not played last night, however it did appear on the printed setlist – it seems the guys may have skipped it to make room for the proposal.
