Simple Plan’s acceptance speech for the Allan Waters Humanitarian Award

Thanks a lot to our colleagues over at SPB.com for finding a video of Simple Plan’s acceptance speech at the Juno Gala Dinner last night on March 31st, where they were awarded for their on-going charitable work with Simple Plan Foundation.

After the speech the video continues with a short interview with Jeff Stinco, regarding the award and the band’s involvement with the Foundation and also Jeff mentions today’s special Simple Plan’s performance on the Juno Awards ceremony with K’Naan – the guys apparently still have some surprise for the viewers tonight, revealing only that “the summer’s coming [today] with the Summer Paradise perfromance”.

Summer Paradise music video to be released tomorrow!

Thanks to SPB.com we’ve learned that according to Warner Music Brazil, the new music video for Simple Plan’s single Summer Paradise (feat. Sean Paul) should be released tomorrow, on March 30th 2012, on the website of the brazilian radio station called MixTV at 1pm (local time).

If this is the case, then there is a possibility that the video could premiere online even sooner than that.

Although, there are still no news from the official sources about the worldwide release yet – the guys only promise it should be out “really soon”.

Update:

According to Warner Music Sweden, the official worldwide release of this music video should indeed be tomorrow (thanks Em for the info).

The video will be releaed on March 30th in seven countried on the following websites/stations:

US – 9am EST on EW.com
Canada – 9am EST on Muchmusic.com and MusiquePlus.com
Brazil – 10am on MixTV
Ireland – 2pm on spin1038.com
Netherlands – 3pm on Radio538.nl
Gemany – 3pm on MyVideo.de
Denmark – 3pm on Gaffa.dk

The official Simple Plan website will post the video on Saturday, March 31st at 9am EST (2pm GMT, 3pm CET…).

Seems like the more the release of the music video for the second version of Summer Paradise – feat. Sean Paul is getting close, the more sneak peaks we’re getting! The official website has just been updated with a couple of new pictures from the set of the music video. We now have more than 30 pictures from behind the scenes of Summer Paradise – can you already see what the final outcome may look like? :)

K’Naan to perform “Summer Paradise” live with Simple Plan at Juno Awards

A few weeks ago, Simple Plan were announced as performers on this year’s Juno Awards in Canada. But the guys won’t be alone on the stage this time around! The Canadian TV station MuchMusic has announced on their Twitter today that on April 1st, Simple Plan will be performing there along with the Somali-Canadian rapper K’Naan, who is the original collaboration on the single Summer Paradise, and this will be the first time ever that these two acts will be playing together live.

Currently, Simple Plan are mostly promoting the new version of Summer Paradise, which features Sean Paul. According to the direcor of the upcoming music video for this single, Randall “RT” Thorne, the vid will be finished this week and we should be able to see it in the upcoming weeks.
