Summer Paradise among TOP 100 singles of 2012 in Australia
The year 2012 has clearly been a great year for Simple Plan’s last single – “Summer Paradise” – most notably its version featuring Sean Paul. ARIA charts, the official music sales charts in Australia, have recently released the total TOP 100 Singles Chart of 2012 with Simple Plan’s “Summer Paradise” reaching spot #59.
In 2012 in Australia, Simple Plan’s 3rd single from Get Your Heart On! has managed to surpass Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend” and “Beauty And The Beat”, Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger”, One Direction’s “Live While We’re Young” or LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem”.
Alex Day mentions Summer Paradise in “The Best Of Pop in 2012”
Alex Day, a very successful British YouTuber (under the alias Nerimon), a solo musician/songwriter, who also plays in a Doctor Who-inspired band Chameleon Circuit, has recently released on his website a list of his favorite pop songs of the year, entitled “The Best Of Pop in 2012”.
Apart from the extremely successful PSY’s “Gangnam Style” and Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe”, Simple Plan’s “Summer Paradise” has also made it to the list.
Summer Paradise has been raving not only the UK charts this summer, but also the over-all European charts, becoming the most played single on the whole continent and one of Simple Plan’s most successful songs to date.
Summer Paradise among McFly’s favorite music videos of 2012
The British pop-rock band McFly has recently appeared on 4Music (a British music TV channel) to introduce their favourite music videos of 2012. The list featured the videos of Jessie J, Jason Mraz, Taylor Swift, Cheryl Cole and also Simple Plan’s last music video – Summer Paradise.

Summer Paradise becomes the 3rd most played song of the year on Facebook timelines in Canada!
Today, the world’s leading social network – Facebook – released its annual “Most Talked About” list for 2012 in Canada, in which it mentions the most talked about subjects on Canadian timelines this year. Along with that, Facebook also released a TOP10 list of songs that have been posted on Canadian timelines throughout the year the most – with Simple Plan’s “Summer Paradise” occupying spot no.3, being only surpassed by David Guetta and One Direction!
