Warner Music Japan has released the official music video for the Japanese version of “Summer Paradise” feat Taka from ONE OK ROCK, following the previously released lyric video for the song. The official music video consists of shots taken in Los Angeles during the recording process of the song, and from Japan – where Taka joined Simple Plan on stage at the PunkSpring festival and also from their time spent together in the streets of Tokyo.

This video makes it the third “official” video for Summer Paradise – the previous versions include K’Naan and Sean Paul. If you’d like to know more about any of the versions of Summer Paradise, visit this section. Information about all the previous music videos can be found here.

VIDEO: Interview with Simple Plan and Taka (One Ok Rock)

Here you can check out the forementioned video of the new interview with Simple Plan and Taka (One Ok Rock) about their version of Summer Paradise which also includes some never seen before shots from the recording session:

Update: Because Taka is speaking Japanese in the interview and since we didn’t really have any interview with his here before, I asked Yuka to translate his parts of the interview to thanks to her you can now check out the translation of Taka’s words below:

00:40- This is the first time for me to collaborate with someone and also first time to play on the stage with someone without any rehearsals… so I was very nervous but I enjoyed it a lot.

03:30- “I’ve listened to their songs even before I had a band. I was wondering why me when I heard of the name “Simple Plan” for the first time though, this was a rare chance and a great experience for me. I’m thinking that I wanna have shows in the U.S. and I’d heard that the recording was also in the U.S., so I was looking forward to it, too… I thought I wanna do it and finally accepted it.”

05:30- “I brought them Japanese Sake (alcohol) and Hachimaki (a headband).”

07:37- “I could get through the recording because they are so nice. Maybe I couldn’t do it if I was alone there.”

10:05- “I’ve never made this kind of a song before. I was trying to make it closer to the image this song has. But they told me that I can do it the way I always do, so I made melodies and lyrics as best I could.
