‘No Love’ at soundcheck in Baltimore: Simple Plan return to the east coast

After a quick break in between the two parts of their U.S. tour, Simple Plan are back on the road and after touring California in the past week, the boys have landed on America’s east coast and their first stop led them to Baltimore, MD.

The guys played at the Baltimore Soundstage venue, for a couple hundreds of local fans. Thanks to Theresa we also already got ahold of the Monday show’s setlist, so let’s have a look at it. As you can see, it’s the exact same setlist as the guys played in Sacramento:

1. Opinion Overload
2. Jet Lag
3. Jump (‚I Gotta Feeling‘ snippet)
4. I’d Do Anything
5. Boom
6. Welcome to My Life
7. Addicted
8. Your Love Is A Lie
9. Singing In The Rain
10. Party medley – Uptown Funk (Mark Ronson/Bruno Mars cover) & Can’t Feel My Face (The Weeknd cover)
11. What’s New Scooby-Doo?
12. Can’t Keep My Hands Off You
13. Farewell
14. Summer Paradise
15. Crazy
16. I’m Just A Kid

Encore:
17. Shut Up!
18. Perfect World
19. Untitled
20. Perfect

Regarding soundcheck, Pierre apparently wasn’t present, however the band had a nice surprise in store for the SP Crew members as they played one very rare song at the soundcheck – and that is ‘No Love’ from SP’s self-titled album. Check it out on the video below (once again, big thanks to Theresa):

Now, come have a look into the gallery for a couple of new pictures from last night’s show in Baltimore:

New vlog: highlights from Simple Plan’s U.S. tour

Simple Plan are officially done with the west coast part of their U.S. tour and before the east coast part kicks off on Monday, the band decided to share with you a bunch of footage from their tour in California – from the shows in Santa Ana, Los Angeles and Sacramento that took place this week.

Check them out in the new vlog below:

Last stop in California: Simple Plan rock Sacramento

Last night, Simple Plan finished the west coast part of their U.S. tour with a third sold-out Californian stop in a row – in Sacramento, CA. The boys are getting incredible reviews from the attendees of the recent shows on social media and last night’s concert was not an exception. Simple Plan performed at the Ace Of Spads venue, which has the capacity of 1000 people, and rocked the crowd to bits – both the young and also the new fans. And if you follow Simple Plan’s Instagram stories, you also already know that there was even a marriage proposal at the VIP pizza party after the show.

Regarding the setlist, the boys went back to Untitled instead of This Song Saved My Life. Once again, ‘Perfectly Perfect’ is still missing from the setlist.

1. Opinion Overload
2. Jet Lag

2nd show of U.S. tour: Simple Plan hit Los Angeles

Simple Plan keep rolling through California and last night, on October 5th, it was time for Los Angeles, CA to experience a Simple Plan show.

The sold-out concert took place at the the Troubadour venue in West Hollywood and besides a couple hundred fans a number of recognizable faces were in the attendance, including Simple Plan’s long-time music video director and friend Frank Borin and also Marko DeSantis from Sugarcult.

The setlist of the show in LA was very similar to the one from the night before in Santa Ana, with only two slight changes: instead of ‘Untitled’, Simple Plan chose to perform another slower track ‘This Song Saved My Life’. Also, according to the printed out setlist, the band seemingly did not play ‘Perfectly Perfect’ in LA [unconfirmed]. Check out the full setlist below (big thanks again to Misty Lake for sending it in):

1. Opinion Overload
2. Jet Lag
3. Jump (‚I Gotta Feeling‘ snippet)
4. I’d Do Anything
5. Boom
6. Welcome to My Life
7. Addicted
8. Your Love Is A Lie
9. Singing In The Rain
10. Party medley – Uptown Funk (Mark Ronson/Bruno Mars cover) & Can’t Feel My Face (The Weeknd cover)

12. Can’t Keep My Hands Off You

14. Summer Paradise
15. Crazy
16. I’m Just A Kid

Encore:
17. Shut Up!
18. Perfect World
19. This Song Saved My Life
20. Perfect

And just like in Santa Ana, you can have a look at a number of professional pictures from the behind the scenes of the Los Angeles show taken by Chady, as well as a couple of first pictures from last night’s set:

Simple Plan performed ‘Untitled’ in Kansas as an acoustic trio

Last night, Pierre, Jeff and Sebastien appeared at the Barktoberfest event in Kansas [stating David and Chuck were sick – although during acoustic sets, it’s common for Chuck not to be there]. Looks like our theory of Simple Plan focusing more on their earlier hits at their shows in the U.S. was correct – the boys brought back ‘Untitled’ to the setlist alongside other well-known songs to the U.S. audience, such as Addicted, I’m Just A Kid, I’d Do Anything, Welcome To My Life or Perfect – all acoustically.

Check out some of the first few pictures from the show here and a video from their ‘Untitled’ performance below:
