‘Singing In The Rain’ enters TOP 50 at Hot AC radio in the U.S.

Simple Plan’s latest single of their new record ‘Taking One For The Team’ is celebrating first success on the US radios!

According to Headline Planet, last week ‘Singing in the Rain’ (which recently hit 900 000 views on YouTube) reached the TOP 50 on position #50 on HOT Adult Contemporary radio with 193 spins a week! That 77 more spins than in the previous week, when Simple Plan reached #60 (116 spins).

The of course raises chances of Simple Plan’s return to the United States, where they haven’t properly toured in a very long time.

Pierre and Chuck performed at Lakeside Golf Club in Burbank, CA

Last night, a special event was held at the Lakeside Golf Club in Burbank, CA in the United States, with a number of artists performing on stage during the evening. Besides Eagels and Tim Allen, Chuck Comeau and Pierre Bouvier from Simple Plan performed – and for this one-off show, instead of their bandmates, who are currently at home in Canada, they were accompanied by a number of other musicians and back-vocalists.

As promised, here’s a few more – and definitely better – pictures from Pierre’s and Seb’s acoustic performance and meet&greet in Allentown, PA at the B104 radio station from Wednesday:

The radio station has finally posted videos of all the songs performed during the duo’s short set and you can see them on their website. Apart from that Pierre and Sebastien also did a little Q&A session there, answering some of the fans’ questions. You can check it out on the video below or just read the short recap here:

– Pierre, David, Seb and Jeff always try to prank Chuck. Once they partied on the bus and thought it would be a great idea to hide his computer so he wouldn’t find it. They hid it so well that they lost it in the process and Chuck had to buy a new one.
