News from Israel: Simple Plan’s single coming out in the US

As of this moment, some of the member of Simple Plan are already back home in Canada, some of them back in the States and they are all enjoying some well-deserved time-off. On Saturday the band played their last show (for about a month) – in Tel-Aviv, Israel, where they’ve gathered quite a few souvenirs (as you can see on the picture on the left).

A highlight of this concert was a moment right before Perfect, when Pierre asked the crowd to be silent for a while before he comes back and says something important. It took him two takes, but finally manage to announce that “Simple Plan’s single is coming out in the United States”.

You can check out the announcement on the video below:

Since Simple Plan are currently promoting their single Summer Paradise, I’m assuming this is the single they are talking about (and that it really arrives to the US only now). This could be a fairly good news for the US fans because if the band gets lots of radio play in the country, the chances of them coming back there are even better. And so far, with Get Your Heart On!, Simple Plan haven’t really spent much time in the US.

And to wrap this post up, let’s get back to the night in Israelin the gallery you can check out some new picturesy from Simple Plan’s third performance in this country:

VLOG: Seb in San Diego’s ZOO

The guys had a day off yesterday, which Sebastien decided to spend in a ZOO in San Diego, where Simple Plan are playing a show tonight. So he took a few members of the crew with him and together they recorded this video, which we can count as another one of the famous “Learning with Simple Plan” videos… well in this case “Learning with Sebastien” is probably more appropriate. Check it out:

Simple Plan appeared as Plan! on Halloween show

As some of you may have guessed, Simple Plan have returned for their encore on the show in Pomona, California, dressed as our next favourite “band” – Plan! This was not the first time the guys have dressed this way – they first schocked the fans in the tiny white costumes in the booklet of their new album Get Your Heart On! and then also live on the red carpet on this year’s MMVAs.

You can check out the first pictures from yesterday’s Halloween show in the gallery, as well as a lot of awesome shot from the show in San Francisco. Next, you can also find there a brand new photo from the Get Your Heart On! photoshoot, and also a few pictures of the guys from Simple Plan with the members of the bands The Cab, Forever The Sickest Kids and Marianas Trench, with whom the band is touring the US right now:

Setlist for the US GYHO tour

Below you can check out what the setlist for Simple Plan’s US Get Your Heart On! tour looks like. The setlist seems exactly the same as the one they had in Europe or Australia (except for the fact they sometimes added Everytime to the EU or AUS shows).

We may expect some minor setlist change during the upcoming Canadian tour next year because among the bands Simple Plan will be touring with will also be All Time Low, who’s lead singer Alex Gaskarth lent his voice for the song “Freaking Me Out” – so there is a chance we may actually hear this song live with Alex one day. :)

Which songs would YOU like to be included on Simple Plan’s setlist?

Shut Up
Can’t Keep My Hands Off You
Jump
Take My Hand
When I’m Gone
Addicted
You Suck At Love
Thank You
Your Love is a Lie
Astronaut
Summer Paradise
Fuck You/Dynamite/Raise Your Glass (Cover medley)
Jet Lag
This Song Saved My Life
Welcome To My Life
I’d Do Anything
Loser Of The Year
I’m Just A Kid

Simple Plan back in the US: first update from the GYHO tour

Simple Plan kicked off their long-awaited US tour two days ago in style – particularly in Los Angeles, California. The guys hit the tour along with the bands The Cab, Marianas Trench and Forever The Sickest Kids and even invited some of the members to their webchat on Friday. Unfortunately they somehow forgot to record the webchat this time, so if you weren’t up when it was live, i’m really sorry…

Anyway! The guys enjoyed the evening quite a lot – Chuck just got a new set of drums, so he took his first chance to try them out on the LA show. If you’re curious what it looked like on the first US show, make sure to check out these photos from Friday night and also the video below, which beautifully captures the atmosphere during You Suck At Love:
