Moshcam did a not-so-regular interview with Sebastien and Jeff when on Warped Tour and asked the guys a couple of interesting (or as they say… shitty) questions about Avatar, Spice Girls and Simple Plan’s band name. See it here:

Simple Plan will not perform songs off new EP in Australia
Yesterday in Sydney, Australia, Troy Culpan from May The Rock Be With You had the chance to interview Sebastien and Jeff from Simple Plan at Warped Tour. The interview is quite long and the boys talk about the new EP, being in a band for so long with no line-up changes etc. Below you can read an excerpt from it for which I picked the most interesting questions and answers. In them, Seb and Jeff talk about why the band sadly won’t be playing any of the newly released songs in Australia and also touch the subject of the long-awaited DVD, which is still in works.
Are you playing any of these new [songs] while in Australia?
Sébastien: We’re not, funny enough we haven’t had a chance to practise anything…
Jeff: *laughs*
Sébastien: We just came here and thought we’ve got sound check every day, and there’s no sound check and we’re like…
Both: Shit… *laughs*
Sébastien: But it turns out that a lot of fans that come they’ve been into the band from the very beginning so they really, really want to hear some old songs which we’re happy to play anyway…Sarah wanted to know about the DVD, there were whispers about it and then nothing…
Jeff: Yeah what the fuck’s going on with that?
Sébastien: I have no idea, we filmed a whole show the last time we were in Australia, it’s gorgeous, it’s beautiful, we’re just trying to figure out how to release it, is it going to be a DVD? Is it going to be an online thing? We’re just in the midst of trying to figure that out…
Jeff: There’s just no more fuckin music stores, so where do you release it?

FasterLouder: “Nothing is funnier than metalcore dudes singing every word to Simple Plan!”

The Australian server FasterLouder has written an article about the “8 things we learnt at Vans Warped Tour Sydney” and lo and behold, a mention of Simple Plan made it to entry no.5 entitled “Nothing is funnier than metalcore dudes singing every word to Simple Plan.”
Check out the excerpt below:
5. Nothing is funnier than metalcore dudes singing every word to Simple Plan
Surprisingly, there was a lot of positivity in the air throughout the day. The fact the festival was held on a Sunday meant that that the drunken moron element was minimised, and made way for the most serious of music listener to shake along to Simple Plan’s ‘Welcome to My Life’ and bust out their best whiney pop punk vocal rendition of ‘Perfect’. A duet between the Canadians and Jenna McDougall from Tonight Alive was a highlight, with the Sydney pop-punker’s voice perfectly synched with Simple Plan frontman Pierre Bouvier’s.
