This coming Tuesday, December 13th at 9pm, a Canadian TV station Tele-Quebec will be broadcasting a 120 minutes long recording of Simple Plan’s benefit event for their Simple Plan Foundation, which took place on September 20th this year and where Simple Plan performed alongside the Montreal Symphonic Orchestra (OSM) (conducted by Simon Leclerc). In case you haven’t seen the photos from this event, make sure to visit the gallery).
The rerun of the recording (but concert only) will also air on February 19th 2012 on ARTV.
The feature was directed by Yanie Dupont-Hébert, sound mixing was (with a little help of Sebastien from Simple Plan) done by Frédéric Fortin from PVP Group and the Scott Lake from the Metalworks Studios was in charge of the final mastering.
I will try to get some Canadian fans to record the film on Tuesday (if you are from Canada and are able to record it, please let me know via Twitter!) but till then, make sure check out this trailer, which features the guys getting ready for this special event and also few recordings of the concert itself, where the band was also joined by Marie-Mai:
Update:
According to the PVP Group, there will be a DVD of the entire event and it should be coming out soon (thanks Marian for the info).
