The less frequent updates have probably already given you a clue about the fact that the guys from Simple Plan are finally after months of touring taking a well-deserved time off back home in Canada (or/and the US) with their friends and families.
However the boys will only be relaxing till this coming Friday when they are scheduled to appear at their first Canadian festival of this summer – at Calgary Stampede, in Calgary. During the rest of summer then, the band will attend seven more local festivals.
Although most of the festivals are taking place in August, which leaves Simple Plan enough time in July (as planned) to work on their upcoming EP – which is a shorter music CD, which includes only about 6 or 7 songs. Simple Plan are planning on putting there some of the songs that were left over from the writing process of Get Your Heart On!.
Also, soon we should start finding out the dates of the upcoming European tour. Yes, Simple Plan will be actually returning to Europe again in November and December of this year – and from what I hear it could be up to whole six weeks! However no more details have been confirmed yet.
