Simple Plan to perform at this year’s edition of the 24h Tremblant charitable event

After two years, Simple Plan will once again repeat their appearance at the largest philantropic sporting event in North America – 24h Tremblant, which will take place at Mont-Tremblant in the Quebec province from December 8th to December 10th. The official Facebook page of this event hinted on Simple Plan’s appearance after the band’s Montreal show earlier this week and according to the promoters, the band should be performing on Saturday, December 9th. Official announcement should be coming soon.

At 24h Tremblant, the participants take on three different sports challenges at the same time: ski, run and walk. The teams, made up of 6 to 12 members, register in one of the three sports and take part in a 24-hour relay. Participants raise funds with all proceeds going to three major children’s foundations. And every year this event is accompanied by a number of concerts.

You may recall that SP had already performed at 24h Tremblant once before – in 2015 when Pierre Bouvier unfortunately could not be present due to vocal haemorrhage, so the band had to call up a few of their friends to help out with the vocal parts – and so it happened that Marie-Mai, Janick Thibault, Rémi Chassé, Bobby Bazini and Jonas all sang with Simple Plan that night. This time around however, the promoters of 24 Tremblant promise Pierre will be performing.
