Simple Plan finish U.S. tour with a second show in Seattle

The second part of the No Pads tour in the United States in now over and the last place that got to hear SP perform [although, let’s not forget they will be doing a one-off show in Hawaii soon!] the No Pads hit was Seattle… for the second time in a row!

Since the first Seattle show was almost immediately sold-out, the guys added a second show at the Neptune Theatre and it was a great way to end the U.S. run with Patent Pending and Set it Off. The guys will now be continuing only with The Bottom Line and a few more added acts in Canada.

The guys in Patent Pending really appreciated finally being on tour with they old-school heroes and during their goodbye on the final night, they took a picture with three members of SP. Check it out in our gallery:

Sebastien to be featured on the Mike Herrera Hour podcast

As many have guessed, after Simple Plan invited their old pal Mike Herrera from MXPX on stage the first night in Seattle, Mike Herrera decided to return the favor and invited one member of Simple Plan to join him on his podcast the following day. The choice was obvious: Sebastien. Since Seb has a podcast of his own, on the same radio station (Idobi radio), the two had loads to discuss.

The Mike Herrera Hour feat. Seb Lefebvre will air this Friday, September 8th at 8pm EST and to get you a bit more excited about it, you can check out Seb’s video of his journey to Mike’s studio below:

Mike Herrera (MXPX) joins Simple Plan on stage in Seattle for ‘Responsibility’ performance

Last night Simple Plan performed at the first sold-out show in Seattle (with second show added for tonight) at Neptune Theatre and 2 800 people gathered there to witness quite a special show!

The best part came in the middle of the No Pads set, when after ‘God Must Hate Me’ the band welcomed their old friend Mike Herrera from MXPX on stage and together they performed the song ‘Responsibility’ by MXPX. You may recall that the last time Simple Plan performed this song with Mike was at the 2015 APMAs.

After the show, Mike wrote on Instagram about being reunited with his old friends from Simple Plan:

“So good to see my Simple Plan dudes. We toured together years ago and have shared the stage many times. These guys are all-pro legends! Thanks for the hospitality guys! I love you guys!! Go see this show – there’s a lot of killer music packed into one night!

Simple Plan add new show in Arizona & another Seattle show after first just sold out

The tickets for the upcoming second leg of Simple Plan’s 15th anniversary No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls tour in the USA went up only a few weeks ago and the shows are already starting to sell out! In fact one of them just did – Seattle (on September 2nd) sold out its 2800 tickets the fastest of them all!

And because the band suspected this ahead, they already secured a second show in Seattle, so starting this Friday 10am local time, the local fans can score tickets for the the second show at The Neptune, which will take place on September 3rd.

Some more good news came in also for the Arizonian fans – Simple Plan just added a show in Flagstaff, AZ, on August 28th in The Orpheum Theatre, which promises to be a very intimate show for only 650 people. Tickets for this show also go up this Friday, at 10am.

Check out more info about these two new shows below or check out the whole schedule of the band’s upcoming tourdates in the Tour section.
