Adam Elmakias mentions Simple Plan in a Twitter rant

Adam Elmakias, who’s gained fame as a concert photographer, mainly for taking pictures of bands like All Time Low and Pierce The Veil, went on a short rant on Twitter yesterday, which started by him mentioning he was listening to Simple Plan and he couldn’t understand why he ever stopped. Check out the cool story about Simple Plan’s “Perfect” from Adam’s teenage years:

“I am listening to Simple Plan, why did I ever stop listening to Simple Plan?”

“One time in high school I called my girlfriend and her friend, we had one of those calls where three people could be on it. I think I was 14 and I was super dorky and told them that I loved to sing but wouldn’t do it in front of anyone. So they said “show us” but I couldn’t do it on command so I was like well there is only one way I can do it, I have to put the phone down and you just have to wait for it to come out naturally and then I did that and sang the Simple Plan song “I’m Sorry I Can’t Be Perfect” to them and then I hung up right away cause I was so embarrassed. I wish I could go back to 14 year old me and high five myself cause of how much of a weirdo I was and then 14 year old me would high five current 25 year old me and be like where the fuck did all your hair go and why are you still on this planet. In conclusion, let me serenade you. My voice is very unique and full of surprises that will leave a life long impression on your soul.”
