Simple Plan to release ANOTHER version of TOFTT vinyl: limited edition in white!

Even though Simple Plan have not officially confirmed it anywhere, we’ve already known for a couple months now, that the band is planning to release their most recent album – Taking One For The Team (2016) on vinyl on September 30th. Pre-orders for the regular black vinyl edition of this vinyl have started a couple weeks ago, so some of you may have already ordered yours. Those of you who waited though, now have a chance till Saturday to win a copy of the black TOFTT vinyl through the new SimplePlan.cz contest – click here to find out how you can win!

But here’s a kicker! Even though the band has not mentioned the sale of the regular black version of the vinyl yet, Simple Plan just made a suprising announcement on their Twitter account that they will soon be releasing their ‘Taking One For The Team’ vinyl in a limited edition on a white vinyl! This is surely an amazing news for all the collectors out there. Not only you will be able to get your hands on the black vinyl, but you may even score the white one!

This will be Simple Plan’s third differently colored vinyl (than the standart black) in their discography. Firstly, the band released their single ‘Crazy’ on a green vinyl and after that the self-titled album was printed on an orange vinyl. The remaining Simple Plan vinyls you can find (of a few other singles) are printed on a regular balck vinyl.

There is no words as of right now how many copies of each of the versions have been printed, so grab yours while you can! Keep checking back for more info about the white limited edition’s pre-order.

Simple Plan nominated for 2 prestigious ADISQ awards for TOFTT!

The Québec Association for the Recording, Concert and Video Industry (ADISQ) just revealed the nominations for this year’s ADISQ awards, which are annually given out to the most deserving artists in Canada.

And after long 4 years, Simple Plan have been nominated for an ADISQ award again!

Just like in 2012 with Get Your Heart On! (when they unfortunately did not win), Simple Plan are nominated in 2 categories: “Anglophone album of the year” (for Taking One For The Team) and also Quebec’s artist of the year with the most success outside Quebec. The latter category is also the only one Simple Plan have ever received an ADISQ award for – in 2006 [see photos here]. The award-giving ceremony for Gala ADISQ 2016 will be taking place on October 30th on Radio Canada.

SimplePlan.cz contest: win Simple Plan’s new vinyl Taking One For The Team!

I am incredibly excited to finally announce something I’ve been keeping from you for a couple of weeks now. As you already know (because I’m sure you keep your eyes on every SP news on SimplePlan.cz), Simple Plan will be releasing their new album ‘Taking One For The Team’ on vinyl! As of right now, the official release date is set on September 30th but SimplePlan.cz got their hands on the vinyl already and thanks to teaming up Warner Music Czech Republic you can now win a free copy through a new contest with SimplePlan.cz! A must-have in any big fan’s Simple Plan collection!

And to make it very easy for you guys, literally all you have to do is like AND comment (don’t forget to do both!) under this contest post on SimplePlan.cz’s Facebook page and answer a simple question: ‘Which song from Taking One For The Team is your favorite and why?’. Just please make sure your Facebook profile allows fanpages to private message you, in case you win.

The contest starts today, September 21st and ends this Saturday, September 24th at noon CET. It is open internationally so don’t worry about living in Narnia :)

Simple Plan to perform in Kansas City for free next week!

On the very last minute, Simple Plan just announced another U.S. performance that will kick off their October tour across the country. And to top that this show will be free to attend!

So if you’re near Kansas City, KS next Saturday, October 1st, make sure to come check out the family & pet festival Barktoberfest, where Simple Plan will perform alongside other acts, such as MAGIC!

New merch items in official Australian store
