The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa recently released a recap video from Simple Plan’s appearance at the venue for Mix 100.7 in Tampa, FL. As you already know, this event took place on June 22nd and just like elsewhere, the boys performed an acoustic set and also took the time to take pictures with the attendees.

In just a month, Sebastien’s and Patrick’s radio show on Idobi radio “Man Of The Hour” will celebrate exactly 10 years on air, so it’s only fitting that they kick the summer off with another round number: season 20 of their show!

Last week Simple Plan announced a bunch of tourdates for the remaining months of 2016, which include tours in the U.S., Canada, South America and Southeast Asia. For Southeast Asia, Simple Plan announced only 4 dates so far – in Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea and Singapore – but they promised that more dates are in works and that more announcements would follow. And it looks like they will truly be holding on to that promise!
The Indonesian promoter Original Production announced on their Twitter profile that Simple Plan would be coming back to Jakarta, Indonesia and that the fans should stay tuned for more info coming soon. In a later reply to one of the fans though, the promoter announced that the concert would be taking place on September 4th – that means in between the dates in South Korea and Singapore. Simple Plan are yet to confirm this show themselves, but as the promoter has already announced it, the band’s announcement probably won’t take much longer. Simple Plan kicked off July with yet another acoustic set in Texas – this time it was time to pay a visit to Tyler, TX, where SP played for the local radio station Mix 93.1 as a part of their Mix Lounge event. Check out the first photos from this show in the gallery:
Yesterday Simple Plan drove to Dallas, TX, where they had two radio station performances scheduled – for 102.9 NOW and 103.7 KVIL. Our reader Theresa was there and according to her, the guys’ setlist was a bit longer than in Houston. Simple Plan played the following songs [order may have been different]:
As you can see, Dallas got a little surprise in the form of ‘Promise’ live, which is a song from SNGA the band doesn’t feature on their setlists very often. Check it out on the video below:
