The Bottom Line plead with fans to help with regards to Simple Plan Texas show cancelations

Earlier this week, the British band The Bottom Line, packed their bags and headed to the airport to join Simple Plan in the U.S. on another one of their tours – alongside Patent Pending and Set It Off. The band was supposed to first appear as the opening act in Houston, TX, however due to the worsened weather conditions and hurricane Harvey making landfall in Texas right about that time, both the show in Houston and Austin, TX have been canceled (with rescheduled dates to be announced soon).

Of course, this came as very bad news for this small British band (who have been making rounds without a label for years now), who’ve already put a lot of finances into their first tour in the U.S., and who’d sustenance on this Simple Plan tour very much relies on income from sales made at their concerts.

Due to these unforeseen cancelations, and with three additional days off they didn’t count on, The Bottom Line are now struggling financially and to make the ends meet they decided to make the previously limited-to-the-U.S.-shows merch available everywhere online – and plead with their fans to purchase it, so TBL can finance the rest of the tour. Read the lead singer of TBL – Callum Amies’ words below:

“Hey guys. Had a weird 48 hours over here in America and as a result of the hurricane we have had to postpone 2 shows on tour. Leaving us with 3 days off with no income trying to drive to Arizona. We hate asking for money but this is an extremely unusual circumstance, we put some brand new shirts up for sale and if anyone is kind enough to grab one it would be really helping us out!”

Since The Bottom Line have made quite an impression on the past 3 Simple Plan tours they’ve been a part of in the past 2 years in Europe, if you can, we urge you to help this band out and allow them to keep continue on this current tour, which they are yet to first perform at. You can purchase their merch by clicking on the image link below (take notice that the items won’t be shipped until after the end of the tour – at the end of September):
