Simple Plan featured in the “Lennon or McCartney” documentary

Over the last 10 years exactly 550 musicians and actors were asked a rather simply looking question: “Lennon or McCartney?” which of course refers to the song-writing duo from The Beatles – John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Scared Goose Productions put all these video or audio bits from the interviews together in an alphabetical order and released them together in a form of a 34-minute-long video on YouTube.

While some artists chose to not answer, some (15) voted for George Harrison and 4 for Ringo Starr, in the end, it was John Lennon who won with 282 votes against 196 votes for Paul McCartney.

Among the artists who had to decide between these two musicians are for example Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), Simon Helberg (The Big Bang Theory), Gary Oldman, Jonas Brothers, Kary Perry, Justin Bieber, Maroon 5 and also our very own Simple Plan. Check out who Pierre, Jeff and David decided to choose at mark 23:26:

Last night, David shared an old-school picture of himself on Twitter. This picture was taken in 1995, when David was only 15 years old, and most coincidentally opening for Reset in Matane, which at that time included both Pierre and Chuck, who later on became his bandmates in Simple Plan. David with Chris Crippin (Hedley) and Sonny Tremblay (Burn Halo) at Paiste Day

On Saturday, November 15th, Steve’s Music Store in Montreal, Canada held “Paiste Day”, which is a day when customers can get a free cleaning of their cymbals, choose from a wide selection of cymbals and gongs and also meet some artists. The last mentioned treat was in a form of three Canadian musicians: Chris Crippin (the drummer for Hedley), Sonny Tremblay (former drummer for Burn Halo) and David Desrosiers (bassguitarist for Simple Plan).
