Simple Plan to release ANOTHER video in the next few weeks

While either this or next week we should finally get a look at the new music video for “Opinion Overload”, which is Simple Plan’s second single, according to a new interview with Jeff, that might not be all that the boys have for us video-wise!

In an interview for the Spanish server Histéricas Garbaciones, Jeff was asked about their upcoming important events and besides the European tour, Jeff also said:

“We are releasing two new videos in the next few weeks: one is a “nostalgia/throwback” video with a super energetic live performance. The other video, will be quite a surprise for our fans! ” – Jeff Stinco

As you can guess, it is certain that in the first part of the quote, Jeff talks about the music video for “Opinion Overload”, which is known to feature a live performance of the band along with a sneak peek at various memorabilia. But in the second part, he mentions that there is another video we can look forward to. Is it a music video? Is it something else? We’re gonna have to wait and see what the next few weeks are going to bring. But as Jeff said, it will definitely be a big surprise.

Pierre teases second leg of Euro tour for the turn of 2016/2017

The first leg of the European Simple Plan tour hasn’t even started yet [see the tourdates here] and we’re already discussing the second one! Well.. not we, but Pierre to be exact.

In a brand new issue of Stencil magazine, which features a very long interview with Pierre, the lead singer talked about various topics from working with Howard Benson all the way to touring in the UK and Europe in general. There, Pierre noted that the fans may expect the second leg of the European tour fans somewhere around the end of 2016 or the beginning of 2017. Check out the exact quote below:

“People can definitely expect a second European run. I’m guessing either at the end of 2016 or beginning of 2017 once the record is within more of a full cycle. We’ll be having fun!”

Simple Plan to appear on the French show Taratata

It seems that Simple Plan’s trip to France next week won’t only be about the private showcase in Paris at Warner Music France. It has just been announced that the band would be parttaking in the taping of the show Taratata either on Wednesday next week (January 13th).

The last time Simple Plan appeared on Taratata was in 2011, where they performed Astronaut for the first time on television. Hopefully the boys will surprise us with a performance there this time around as well.
