Because all the members of Simple Plan are currently back in Montreal (due to a charity golf tournament that’s taking place later today), they were all there last night to celebrate the opening of their fellow bandmate’s Jeff Stinco’s new restaurant – the Laurea part of the two-part project Laurea & Lorbeer. While Lorbeer opened a couple weeks ago, Laurea greeted the first customers yesterday at a special VIP party attended not only by the members of Simple Plan, but also other familiar faces such as Patrick Langlois, Sim Klugerman, Herby Moreau or Anne-Marie Withenshaw. Public will be first able to taste the meals at Laurea on Thursday.

Montreal’s most popular summer festival – the Osheaga festival that took place from August 1st to 3rd had some great acts that performed on various stages including Lorde, Arctic Monkeys or Foster The People. And some of the members of Simple Plan could not miss the opportunity to check out some of their colleagues at work and showed up at all three days of the festival.
