Simple Plan Foundation to host a charitable celebrity golf tournament

As it has been mentioned by Pierre in a recent interview, the Simple Plan Foundation will be hosting a charitable celebrity golf-tournament that is open for public to take part in.

“Golf Pro-Célébrités” will take place at the Saint-Raphael golf club in Canada on August 6th and all the proceeds will be divided between two organizations: the Simple Plan Foundation, which focuses on helping young people, and Procure, which is trying to help stop prostate cancer.

The event, hosted by Jean Pagé and Luc Dupont-Hébert, will kick off with a brunch at 8:30am. After that the attendees will be divided into teams of three for the golf tournament and each team will then gain a 4th member – a celebrity – from sports, entertainment, politics or business. The winning team will receive a cash prize of $3000 and a trophy with their names engraved on it. After the golf tournament, a cocktail reception will take place in the golf club, where the attendees will have a unique opportunity to meet all the personalities, including the members of Simple Plan. The final part of the event will include a special acoustic concert of Simple Plan.

Tickets for the whole event (brunch, golf, cocktail party, concert) are available for $1000 and tickets only for the cocktail reception and concert are available for $150.
