Simple Plan co-writing for 5th album with Ian Kirkpatrick and Sean Douglas

If you needed any more proof that Simple Plan have indeed already started writing songs for their upcoming 5th studio – here it is. In the gallery you can check out a picture from October 30th, when Chuck and Pierre from Simple Plan were joined during their song-writing session by composers/producers Sean Douglas and Ian Kirkpatrick.

Sean Douglas has previously worked with artists like David Guetta or Demi Lovato and Ian Kirkpatrick‘s name is already familiar to the Simple Plan fans – as he has co-written at least one Simple Plan song before – which was “Outta My System”, featured on the new Simple Plan EP. Besides Simple Plan, Ian Kirkpatrick has worked with bands like Breathe Carolina or The Plain White T’s.

While Simple Plan are currently finishing with their last show at Warped Tour in Adelaide, let’s have a look at some more pictures of Simple Plan from the past few days. First, here’s a few more pictures from the signing in Sydney and also some brand new pictures from today’s signing in Adelaide:

Besides meeting their fans at the signing, the guys also held special meet&greets with fans in Australia. Jen submitted a couple of her and her friends’ pictures from the meet&greets in Sydney and Melbourne, so you can now find them all added in the gallery alond with a few new pictures from the backstage of Warped Tour in Melbourne.
