In the past few days, I have received quite a few more pictures of the members of Simple Plan with their fans. Kasha submitted pictures of her and the band from three different times in 2012: from the meet&greet in Ottawa, Canada, from the rehearsal for Canada Day and from after the show at the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival. Marco sent me his pictures from the soundchecks in Germany – in particular from Hamburg (2011 and 2012) and Berlin (2012). From Lauren there are a few pictures from the merch tent signing at Warped Tour in Noblesville, IN, and finally Jen sent in pictures from the Toronto signing of the SP book in December 2012. In the past couple of months, Simple Plan have been furiously working on a way to bring some new music to their fans before they dive back into writing music and lyrics for their fifth full-length album (expected in 2014/2015). They came up with the idea to release an EP – extended play – an album with a small amount of songs – that would make their fans satisfied (at least for a while!) before the next album come out.
