Dinner with fans at Le Muscadin

It’s been a tradition for a couple years now that around the middle of the year, the members of Simple Plan get together and enjoy an evening at the Le Muscadin restaurant with a couple of fans who bid the highest at the auction for this dinner at the past Simple Plan Foundation benefit event (with all the proceeds going to the Simple Plan Foundation). Yesterday was that day and the five members of Simple Plan joined Jenn, Debbie and Chantele, who were the winners of the auction last year. Throughout the evening the guys kept tweeting pictures from the dinner and you can now check them out in the gallery:

Simple Plan traded spots with Mother Mother

Due to unforeseen travel complications for the band Mother Mother, who was supposed to play right before SP, Simple Plan decided to give them a chance to play at all at the Canada Rocks festival in Fort McMurray, by giving up their headlining spot and play a little earlier, so that Mother Mother would have time to arrive and play for their local fans.

The Simple Plan show was as always a big success and you can already check out some pictures from the concert in the gallery plus one picture of Seb and David from the backstage area:

Soundcheck for Canada Rocks

In just a couple of hours the members of Simple Plan will kick off their presence at a couple of Canadian summer festivals by performing at Canada Rocks in Fort McMurray.

David, Pierre and Chuck started the day off with a breakfast in the city while waiting for Seb and Jeff to arrive. In the afternoon the band did a little soundcheck and meet&greet with a few lucky fans from which you can also already check out some pictures in the gallery:
