Simple Plan performing on Taratata

Yesterday, Simple Plan’s first TV performace of their latest single “Astronaut” aired in France on a show called “Taratata”, which the guys pre-recorded in September, during their short European tour. The programme’s website has already released the full footage of Simple Plan’s performance, as well as of the subsequent interview with Pierre and Chuck (in French, of course).

For the last couple of months, I have managed to collect a lot of photos from many old and new photoshoots of Simple Plan. Simple Plan on Australian X Factor

The band is currently wrapping up their Australian tour on an under 18 show in Melbourne. Simple Plan had a great time in Australia: they were even invited as guest performers on the Australian version of the realitz show X Factor, where they performed their local single Can’t Keep My Hands Off You. Check it out below:

Simple Plan down under equals new collaboration and parties with old pals

After three whole years Simple Plan finally returned to Australia. And just a few minutes after they landed they were warmly welcomed by a few old-school fans. The band’s first stop in Australia was at a local TV show called AFL Footy show, where the guys played their first single Jet Lag – although this time accompanied not by Marie-Mai, but by an Australian singer Vanessa Amorosi. The same evening, as a result of an online invitation by no-one other than Alex Gaskarth from All Time Low, Chuck dropped by to a local club in Sydney to say hello and celebrate this special occasion of meeting up with not only the boys from All Time Low, but also from Yellowcard, Hellogoodbye and Story Of The Year:

Today Simple Plan finally started off their real Australian tour – at first the only concerts that were booked in Australia were +18 (due to promoter’s/venue’s regulations) – but anyway, thanks to the huge demand from the Australian fans, the band decided to add one more show – in Melbourne – to make sure the underage kids can enjoy a Simple Plan show as well. The tour started today in Brisbane – and judging by the first fans’ reactions, they all had a blast :) The first photos from the show (thanks to SPB) are also already in the gallery.

If you’re from Australia and can’t make it to this year’s Simple Plan tour, don’t worry – the band is already making plans to tour the country again in 2012!
