Simple Plan and Marianas Trench to ring in the New Year with a concert at Niagara Falls!

When we thought the announcements of the shows for 2017 might just be over already, here comes another one! Last night, the Niagara Falls Review announced this year’s lineup for the traditional New Year’s celebrations at Queen Victoria Park in Niagara Falls, ON and what an all-Canadian lineup it truly is!

Simple Plan, Marianas Trench, Jess Moskaluke and The James Barker Band will all take the stage on December 31st, entertaining the crowds with concerts and of course, midnight celebrations.

If you’re in the area, trust that the event is completely free to enter for everyone. And what more – after two years, a portion of the Niagara Falls New Year’s Eve show will be broadcast live on CBC – details coming up soon – so if you can’t make it, surely you will be able to catch a glimpse of the show on TV throughout the night!

It’s already been a few weeks since Simple Plan got back from their tour across Mexico, where they finally brought the 15th anniversary NPNHJB tour! During this tour, they paid a visit to Mexico City, Guadalajara, Puebla and Monterrey.

VIDEO: Fruité contest winners enjoy VIP experience with SP in Quebec City

Over the course of the year, the citizens of Canada were able to take part in a contest organized by the Fruité juices with a goal to win a VIP experience with Simple Plan at their shows in Canada! The VIP experience included a limo ride to the venue, meet&greet with Simple Plan and a lot more!

Austin’s NPNHJB show is now sold-out!

In just two weeks Simple Plan will head out on the final tour of the year, which will lead them back to the United States for this third time in 2017. This November/December tour originally began with the two rescheduled shows in Texas, after Simple Plan had to post-pone them due to the then-oncoming hurricane Harvey. Eventually they added a number of additional dates in other U.S. states, making it a 7-stops-long tour.

Just like the earlier U.S. shows, this one is also selling really well – to the point that the show in Austin has now officially become sold-out with the remaining shows coming close to selling out as well!

Final two shows in Mexico: Guadalajara & Monterrey

The four-dates-long Simple Plan tour in Mexico that that took place over the past few days has sadly come to its end. After a concert in Guadalajara on Wednesday, Simple Plan ended the tour in Monterrey last night.

From the reactions of both the band and the fans, we can definitely tell that both groups enjoyed the shows very much and you can now have a little inside look into the past two nights in Mexico via our gallery.
