A couple weeks ago, Pierre and Chuck did a couple promo interviews on various media channels in Canada, one of which being eTalk. Now, you can finally check out a part of their appearance there, where the boys from Simple Plan taught eTalk’s Ben Mulroney how to run Baywatch-style, after they’ve mastered the running style for their music video “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed”.
Album title, release date, artwork and European tourdates – all these amazing things were revealed to us this Monday and to recap everything, Chuck and Seb decided to release a brand new vlog from the studio, where they just finished recording 4 pop-punk songs, out of which some will be added to the new album.

The moment Chuck’s been dreading for the past couple of days is finally here – because the Mexican radio Alfa 91.3 finally released the interview they taped with Sebastien, Chuck and Jeff when the band was in Mexico earlier this week! What’s so special about this interview is that at the end of it, the guys got challenged to sing karaoke to a song of their choosing. And while the radio did not have any requested Blink-182 or Green Day songs the guys wanted to sing to at hand, Chuck and Seb eventually sang to Katy Perry’s hit song “Hot N Cold”, which means that was quite possibly the first time ever that we got to hear Chuck’s singing [no, ‘Holding On’ doesn’t count]. Kind of.
Check out the guys’ amazing effort at the 18:37 mark in the video below:
It comes as no surprise that the most covered topic at this year’s Premios Telehit, or also known as the Telehit Awards in Mexico City, Mexico, was One Direction. The remaining acts got practically no media coverage, which is also a reason for the lack of pictures of Simple Plan so far. However you can find a couple of those that did slip through the cracks of the Internet in the gallery.
But even though we don’t have many pictures from the show yet, there is still stuff to talk about. Most importantly: the setlist. Simple Plan performed four songs in total last night, which was apparently more than originally planned, as both Simple Plan and One Direction had to add more songs to their setlist to “stall” due to Fifth Harmony being very late for the event.
The Telehit Awards were the first time where Simple Plan performed their brand new song “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed” live. Below you can check out the first 6-second clip of the live version of this song that appeared online:

Update: Here’s a longer version of “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed” captured by one of the fans:
And if you’re interesting in the whole setlist – it looked like this:
Setlist – Premios Telehit in Mexico City, Mexico (November 26th 2015)
1. Shut Up!
2. Boom
3. I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed
4. Jet Lag
And last but not the least, I’d also like to share with you this video from the press conference the guys held before they went up the stage at Premios Telehit. There, the band discussed many questions related to music in general, their stance on pop and rock music and their new album. The band confirmed at this press conference that they will indeed be revealing their new album’s title on Monday:
For all of yesterday and today, the guys from Simple Plan were busy giving a number of interviews to the local Mexican media in Mexico City, where they are to perform today at the Telehit awards. Have a look at some of the pictures from yesterday and today:
In one of the interviews, for the radio Alfa 91.3 FM, the members of the band were even forced to do a little karaoke – which is something Chuck seemed to be dreading, however he obliged anyway and below you can check out a sneak peek at his and Seb’s attempt at coming up with their own song:
