Today, I have yet another interview from the recent European promo trip for you – this time in a video form. When Simple Plan were in Milan, Italy last week, they did an interview with Funweek.it, where they discussed their new album, the music videos for Boom and I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed and finally once again the recent terrorist attacks on Paris.
Pierre and Sebastien revealed some interesting personal stuff during the round of the game “Never have I ever..” that they played at the Energy Zurich radio station on Friday.
Back in June of this year, the members of Simple Plan hit the recording studio again to record one song for the soundtrack to the movie “La Guerre des Tuques 3D” (“The Dog Who Stopped The War”). The song is called “The Heroes” and it is important to note that it wasn’t originally written by Simple Plan, but by Jonathan Painchaud who’s French version of this song also appears on the soundtrack.
Finally, after long months of waiting, you can now check out the full version of “The Heroes” in the video below, which also shows you the behind the scenes from the recording session. Interestingly, as you can see from the video, David Desrosiers took care of both the bass guitar and the drums or this song. It is currently unknown why Chuck didn’t participate in this recording, but it is quite possible the birth of his son (a week after the recording session) may have been the reason behind his absence.
After spending a few days in London, the guys from Simple Plan flew to Milan, Italy, where they once again visied the local Warner Music office and gave a number of interviews. One of the interviews (which you could have listened to live if you follow SimplePlan.cz on Facebook and Twitter) was with the radio station Kiss Kiss, where Simple Plan also acoustically performed their song “Welcome To My Life”. Besides that, the band members discussed their new music video for “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed”, their upcoming album, working with Nelly and 5 Seconds of Summer and they also paid their respects to the victims of the recent tragedy in Paris, where they were supposed to perform on Monday.

In the gallery, you can have a look at a number of photos of the guys during their promo trip to Milan today:
Pierre and Chuck recently visited the Discovery Canada studios, where they got to try some physics experiments and make music playing various “music instruments” such as the cucumber or the banana.
