Simple Plan’s tour crew about their work duties on the road

Simple Plan’s management Coalition Entertainment is currently releasing very interesting short clips every Tuesday and Thursday on their educational channel on YouTube (thx to Cal for letting me know), in which various members of their bands’ crew are talking about their work and how exactly things in the music industry work. Recently, Coalition also featured Sean Maestri (backline technician for Simple Plan) and Jaye Murphy (light director for Simple Plan) who you know from Simple Plan’s tour crew (more info on each of them can be found here).

Sherbrook’s all ages pop choir performs “Jet Lag”

A pop choir called “Choeur Pop de Sherbrooke” that resides in Sherbrooke, Canada, recently added their own interpretation of the French version of “Jet Lag” (originally by Simple Plan feat. Marie-Mai) to their choir performance and even captured it on video for the public to see.

I definitely recommend you all to check out this version of the song which is quite different from what we are normally used to: instead of a band featuring 5 guys and one extra girl who sings the female vocals we now have a 60 person choir consisted of both men and women of all ages, singing the song all together.

Simple Plan at Calgary Stampede

Alfter almost two weeks off, the boys from Simple Plan went back to work yesterday: this time they flew to Calgary, Canada, where they attended the “cowboy” festival called Calgary Stampede. During their stay, the guys posted a couple of pictures from the backstage of this event (+ for one of them was taken by Kris)
