VIDEO: First previews of lyrics of the “Wonka” version of Jet Lag

A couple months ago, you could have read about a new contest (although only available for the residents of Canada) sponsored by the Wonka candy company (that you certainly remember from the “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” book and movies), which actually exists in real life. The contestants have to write their own “candy” version of Simple Plan’s song “Jet Lag” and the winner gets to record their version with Simple Plan in a recording studio.

And while the guys were in Hungary, they finally received a couple of the first lyrics sent in by the contestants and shared them with the public in the following video (thx to CSP for finding the unlisted link):

Simple Plan’s evening performance at Canada Day

On Sunday evening, Simple Plan played at Canada Day again – this time around at the Evening show, where they played a little bit longer set than at the Noon show. The public was able to enjoy 6 of their songs: Shut Up!, Can’t Keep My Hands Off You, Summer Paradise, Jet Lag (feat. Marie-Mai), Welcome To My Life and I’d Do Anything.

Here are some screencaps from the live stream:
