The Simple Plan guys are trying really hard to make every single concert on their current Canadian tour a very unique experience and so they planned a couple of more surprises for the fans who will be attending them. One of them, which we’ve already talked about, was the surprise appearance of Fefe Dobson on Jet Lag during Simple Plan’s show in Toronto. You can now check out their performance on YouTube:
Another “surprise” (if we can even call it that) is planned for tonight, when Marie-Mai will be joining Simple Plan on Jet Lag in their hometown of Montreal, Canadai – Marie-Mai confirmed this via her Twitter page.
And speaking of changes on the current Simple Plan tour, it is definitely worth mentioning that the guys have added 4 more songs to their already very long setlist: The Worst Day Ever, My Alien, Everytime (acoustic version) and Crazy (also acoustic version). You can check out the complete up-to-date setlist here.
Also, make sure not to forget to check out SimplePlan.cz’s gallery for more pictures from Toronto and also some brand new ones from London and Kitchener:
Simple Plan appeared in a new TV spot for the Canadian restaurant chain called St-Hubert which is by the way the same restaurant where young Mr. Bouvier used to work in his teenage years.
Check out the advert that praises three things that the members of Simple Plan are very fond of: concerts, hockey and food:
Another one of the promised surprises is finally out! Simple Plan have teamed up with the rapper Sean Paul on their current single Summer Paradise (which originally featured K’Naan). Below you can check out the announcement video and also the full new version of Summer Paradise:
Already in the “track by track” video for This Song Saved My Life Chuck mentioned that they would like to invite the fans on the stage for when they sing it live – “Because we’re just the band playing, this is YOUR song.”
This idea was realized for the first time on Simple Plan’s show in Penticton a few days ago, where the guys kicked off their Canadian tour and were accompanied for This Song Saved My Life by the members of local high-school choirs.
Now the fans who are going to the shows in Chicoutimi and Shawinigan have the same opportunity! Through the server evenko.ca Simple Plan announced a contest for 10 spots on the stage (for one winner and nine of his friends), to sing This Song Saved My Life live with Simple Plan. If you want to attend (and are going to the fore-mentioned shows) the only thing you have to do is to record a video of you and your nine friends singing this song and post the link to the YouTube video in the comments under the video on evenko.ca that Simple Plan recorded for this contest.
