It’s interesting that probably one of the most interesting pieces of news (that was very easibly missable) from last night’s webchat came not from the members of Simple Plan, but from These Kids Wear Crowns. TKWC’s bassist Alan Poettcker mentioned towards the end of the live chat: “The intro video, though, GREAT!”, to which Sebastien responded: “Come to the show to know what this guy’s talking about!”

So far Simple Plan have opened their concerts only with an audio intro (which they used on the last tours across Europe and Asia), but it looks like they are giving a try to a much big production on their Canadian tour – that can be seen not only by the awesome special effects in the background, but also now by including some sort of a video intro before the show starts. Though it is still unknown what this video looks like and what it includes, let’s just hope some dedicated fans from Canada will be willing to capture it, just like Alex’s cameo on Freaking Me Out and the new medley.
