New collaboration revealed: Toby Gad

Sources: TobyGad.com & CSP

Simple Plan have really invited a huge amount of amazing artists, songwriters and producers to make their 4th studio album the best yet. Another confirmed songwriter – Toby Gad – has (according to his official website) co-worked on more than one new Simple Plan song.

Toby Gad is a famous American song-writer and producer, who has written many hit songs for artists like Beyoncé (“If I Were a Boy”), Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, Demi Lovato, The Veronicas (“Untouched”) and others. One of his greatest success is definitely a song nominated for the prestigious Grammy award: “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, by Fergie.

Yesterday, Toby has published a new picture of him, PIerre and Chuck from Simple Plan back from when they worked together in LA on the new SP album. Make sure to check out the picture in its full size in the gallery:

And, I’m still keeping the best for the end: in the video below, you can check out not only a recap of Toby’s most successful singles and all his collaborations, but also few shots of what it looks like when one is “co-writing” with Simple Plan:

Simple Plan one of the co-writers of All Time Low’s new song

For the American band All Time Low it has always been a dream to play alongside bands who’s music they practically grew up on – and Simple Plan have always been on the top of the list. Their dream came true in summer 2010, when along with Simple Plan and other bands they played together many shows across the USA and few festivals in Europe. We can only guess that somewhere along the road, the impuls to write something together must have come.

The song “Time Bomb”, which will be featured on the new All Time Low’s record “Dirty Work”, and which the band started playing live only few months ago and which leaked online in its studio version only weeks ago, has been confirmed to be a masterpiece by not only All Time Low, but partially the members of Simple Plan too! The lyrics to the song have been written by Alex Gaskarth (lead singer of All Time Low), Pierre Bouvier and Chuck Comeau from Simple Plan, and also Matt Squire, who’s also worked on some other lyrics for Simple Plan on their upcoming album.

It’s very interesting that the authorship of Simple Plan has never been mentioned before even though the guys have supported the release of All Time Low’s Time Bomb from the very first day. Pierre told Alex in one of their Twitter conversations that he’s “loving the new song #TIMEBOMB”.

Now here’s a question… could All Time Low collaborate also on some Simple Plan’s lyrics? Could that be one of the top-secret collaborations we’re all dying to find out about?

Make sure to check out the All Time Low’s “Time Bomb”, co-written by Pierre and Chuck, along with its lyrics below:

Sebastien on Twitcam

Sebastien got bored at his studio today, so he decided to do a little Twitcam session for all his fans, in which he answered some of the fans’ questions. If you weren’t able to catch it while it was live, don’t worry, below you can check the whole twitcam on video:

Pierre bubbletweeting again…

Pierre shas decided to show the world his new haircut from a closer look, talk about where he currently is, what’s going on and what’s gonna happen in the next few months – and all that in his latest Bubbletweet, which you can either watch in its bubbly form here or straight in its full size (with a badly synced audio though) below:

Seb’s new EP “Les Robots” for free download

In the world, where the music industry suffers a lot financially on illegal downloads, it’s pretty uncommon that music would be available somewhere for free in full-extent. And even though we most-probably won’t get any free downloads on the Simple Plan’s new record, you can now enjoy listening to/downloading Sebastien’s new EP “Les Robots” legally and for free on his official website SebastienLefebvre.ca.

The tracklisting for the EP “Les Robots” is as follows:

01. Fabrication
02. Sending You A Letter
03. Catch Me (feat. Katie Rox)
04. Tu Me Manques
05. The Last Time We Kiss
