It’s official, ladies and gentlemen, finally!!!!!! After so many months of recording and all those other things through which we kept waiting and waiting, the official release date of Simple Plan’s 4th studio album is June 21st 2011!!!!!!

Yes, it’s still a bit far away, but better late than never, right?

Below you can check the video in which Pierre and Chuck (in LA) and Jeff, Seb and David (in Montreal) made the official announcement about their upcoming album. Apart from that they also talk about the fact that we may get to listen to ANOTHER SP song in the next two weeks (this time not YS@L), and then in the upcoming months we can look forward to loads of photos, videos and perhaps even the tracklisting of the album and most importantly tourdates!

Sebastien’s new mlog: Getting Stuck In My Head

Sebastien has been pretty busy and just two days after releasing his second song from his new EP, today he released another one of his music video blogs – mlogs. This time it’s a song called Getting Stuck In My Head” from his upcoming new EP “Les Robots”. This is what Sebastien revealed about his new song:

This song is about someone you care about. Someone that could have been important for you.

The lyrics to “Getting Stuck In My Head” can already be found in our Lyrics center.

By the way, according to the boys from Simple Plan, we should be expecting a revelation of some GREAT NEWS later today, so make sure you stay tuned! :)

Pierre celebrates tweet no.1000

Mr. Bouvier has been lately apparently very much into composing songs about pretty much anything that has happened to him… so after the most recent Twitter song, which celebrated his 90 000 followers on Twitter, he has now se published a Bubbletweet in order to celebrate his 1000th tweet. Check out the video below:

Sebastien’s new mlog: Crossed Out

Sebastien continues in releasing his new songs via music video blogs – the so-called mlogs. This time the song is called “Crossed Out” and will also be featured in his upcoming EP “Les Robots”. This is what Sebastien revealed about this song:

This is a song about feeling bad about something… Lying… Not wanting the truth to come out.

The lyrics to “Crossed Out” and to Sebastien’s previous song “Sending You A Letter” will be added during today to our Lyrics center.

Pierre’s Twitter song

Few days ago, Pierre finally reached his long-awaited number of 90 000 followers on the Twitter social network. To thank all his faithful followers, he decided to compose and record a “Twitter song”.

You can check the lyrics to the song below (by the way, Pierre forgot to mention a whole lot of countries in his Twitter song, for which he apologized on his Twitter afterwards and thanked some more countries – so check his Twitter page for that – he might have mentioned your country at last), you will also be able to find them in our Lyrics center later :) Enjoy:

Check
This song goes out to all my Twitter fans, I love you.
I still remember the first time I heard about Twitter.

*yup.*

I thought what the hell is this,
is this something I should even consider.

*noone’s gonna use this*

Just when I was getting a hang of my MySpace page,

*Ah! Now I get it!*

But now no-one’s even checking, well I guess that was the MySpace phase.

*mmmhhm*

Well now I’ve got the phone app,
I can post my twitpics.
And follow Kim Kardashian

*or not*

All I really know is 90 000 people’s a lot.

*Yeah, that’s a lot of followers.
I don’t care what you say, Justin Bieber*

Now I’m talking shit,
saying things that I should keep for myself

*I’m picking my nose*

Like what I’m doing in the bathroom
and the details of my sexual health.

*It’s like I’m a burning sensation*

It’s kind of funny that
my account still isn’t verified.
If I get to a hundred thousand
then maybe I won’t be denied.

*mmmhmm*

Now I know the lingo, I can even hashtag
and RT all my friends’ tweets

*Sweet!*

All I really know is 90 000 people’s a lot.
Yeah that’s a lot of people! 90 000 followers!
