Sebastien shared his thoughts with the world in his most recent Bubbletweet, that he posted on Twitter. Check it out below:
And thanks to Jackie, Freda and CSP here are some more awesome shots from the day that Simple Plan fans visited the Van Howes studios and recorded the song This Song Saved My Life with the band. Check them out in the gallery:
Mr. Bouvier pleased all his fans by keeping his word just few hours after reaching 80 000 followers on Twitter and as promised, making a new vlog. Pierre really did make one and you can check it out below.
In the video you will learn for example that today is the final day in the studio, after which the boys are flying back home to Montreal, where they are attending few events in the following week.
It seems like the 3-years-long wait for the new Simple Plan album is almost over – are you guys excited? :)
Simple Plan will have the honour – as we have learnt from Marine – to attend as one of many special guests the event called “We Day”, which is organised by Free The Children. The event annually takes place in many canadian cities: this year We Day took place in Toronto on September 30th, in Vancouver on October 15th (which has coincidentally been attended by Chuck) and the this year’s last We Day will take place in Montreal, on November 12th in the St.Denis theatre – and that’s exactly where our 5 boys will be as well.
What exactly is the so-called We Day? The official website described this massive event as follows:
“Free The Children’s We Day is more than just one day of celebration and inspiration. It’s a one-of-a-kind event and part of an innovative year-long program created to celebrate the power of young people to create positive change in the world.
The event kicks off a year-long program of action, called We Schools in Action. We Day is free of charge and open to any school that wants to be part of the experience. In exchange, each school group that attends is asked to make a commitment to follow the We Schools in Action program, which includes taking local and global action throughout the year.
Since 2007, youth from across North America have come together to discover the passion they have in common, to celebrate their successes, to become aware of new challenges, and to build lasting friendships. The We Day events feature speeches and performances from global leaders and social activists, cultural icons and entertainers.”
Apart from Simple Plan, the Montreal We Day will also be attended by personalities like Mia Farrow, Marc Garneau, Craig & Marc Kielburger, Chantal Petitclerc, Spencer West, Scott Hammell or Michel Chikwanine.
Below you can check out the We Day promo video, which features the footage of the last year’s inspiring event:
You may remember one of the latest vlogs, in which we got to hear a part of one of the first recorded songs – although the title was “beeped out” from Pierre’s speech at the beginning of the vlog.
Many of you have correctly guessed (by reading Pierre’s lips) that the title of the song is “I Can’t Keep My Hands Off Of You” – and this title was confirmed by Jeff in the next interview, where (along with Sebastien) the boys are talking about the T-Rex pedals they are using for the recording.
Make sure to wait till the very end of the video, where you can hear a part of the song:
