Chuck Comeau today announced on Twitter that today after the Kings vs. Washington Capitals game in Staples Center, Los Angeles, he would be playing at a special celebrity hockey game!
It’s a charity event, organised by City of Hope, an organization that deals with research and treatment of cancer. In this hockey game, many other famous celebrities will be playing as well, such as actors Cuba Goodings Jr. (Jerry Maguire), David Boreanaz (Angel, Bones), Shauna Sipose (Melrose Place) or Michael Vartan (Never Been Kissed), next hockey stars like Luc Robitaille, Jeremy Roenick and many more. By the way, Snoop Dogg was supposed to be the honorary coach, but he will be out for today’s game and will be replaced by LA Lakers’ Ron Artest.
The game will be broadcast live via the NHL website right after the Kings and Washington Capitals game. If you miss it, don’t worry – the video from the game should be available later on the same website.
