It looks like Simple Plan’s lead guitarist is slowly taking over the city Montreal – at least in the restaurant business!
After being involved in a number of restaurants and bars in the Montreal area – such as Mangiafoco, Edgar Hyperlodge, Drinkerie Ste-Cunégonde, Shinji and Rufus Rockhead, it is being reported that Jeff Stinco, Éric Le François (Edgar Hyperlodge, Philemon, Taverne Normand, Chez Victoire) and Cindy Simard are currently involved in the upcoming re-opening of “Laurea”, the former Gordon Ramsay restaurant – previously known as “Le Laurier BBQ” – located in the center of Montreal.
According to Montrealinfo.com, the restaurant should offer meals with the flavors of the Mediterranean and there should also be a retractable roof that should cover a portion of the property.
Laurea should be opening in late June or early July 2014.
